The tourist places in Sikar display regality of the Shekhawati Region and the once princely state of Rajasthan. A heritage town with fortified walls, Sikar is one of the two districts of Shekhawati located between Agra and Bikaner. Housed within the district are several arresting Havelis (mansions) and Forts, such as the Devgarh Fort and Lakshmangarh Fort that shed light on the rich culture and architectural designs.

Khatushyamji Mandir

Located around 65 kilometres from the Sikar city centre, KhatushyamJi Temple is a significant pilgrimage site among the believers of the Hindu Lord Krishna. Apart from that also, many other devotees and tourists pay a visit to this revered sacred site.

Nehru Park

One of the largest parks, the Nehru Park is among the prominent tourist attractions in Sikar. Used for many social gatherings during festivities like Gangaur, it is a different experience to be in the town during the celebrations.

Devgarh Fort

Devgarh Fort is a stunning hillock Fort built in 1787 by Rao Raja Devi Singh of Sikar. Located in Devgarh, at a distance of 10 kilometres away from the city centre atop a hill with an elevation of 2100 feet above sea level.

Laxmangarh Fort

Built in 1862 by Maharaja Lakshman Singh, the Lakshmangarh Fort is one of the many astounding forts in the Shekhawati Region and places to visit in Sikar. Situated atop scattered, massive rock formations in the village of Lakshmangarh, named after Rao Raja himself.

Danta Ramgarh

Danta Ramgarh is a historical fort situated in the Ramgarh Village, located at a distance of 51 kilometres from Sikar City. Built in 1733 by Guman Singh Ladkhani, the grandiose structure sits at a slight elevation, compared to the rest of the village and thus, presents stunning views of the surrounding scenery.

Ganeshwar

Ganeshwar is a quaint and small village in the Sikar district, laid out near the copper mines of the Khetri copper belt in the Sikar-Jhunjhunu area. An ancient land, one can find remains and ruins of a 4000-year-old civilization that had lived here at once.
